AnthroMed Education Speech Language Pathologist in Marengo, Illinois

Speech Language Pathologist: 2024-2025 School Year

AnthroMed Education is expanding our team of Speech Language Pathologist who support our students throughout Illinois, and we want you to be a part of our team!

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Speech Language Pathologist. This is a unique role for someone looking to make a significant impact across multiple settings. In this role, you will:

  • Support an intermediate school (4th and 5th graders) and middle school (6th and 8th graders), as well as help out at a few private schools with very small caseloads.

  • Manage a total caseload of about 35-40 students.

    Support we provide our clinicians: AnthroMed Education has a wonderful SLP Director of Clinical Support who offers our clinicians support through the school year!   

  • Bi-Weekly team meetings where all AnthroMed SLPs get together to collaborate.  

  • Dedicated 1:1 caseload support  

  • Professional Development opportunities   

  • Materials stipend for supplies   

  • Yearly licensure reimbursement for ISBE, IDFPR, and ASHA

    Benefits:  AnthroMed Education is proud to provide a Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plan where the premium is 100% paid for, which means $0 premium cost from your paycheck!  

    Compensation:  Full Salary paid weekly (52-week salary!) $55,000 - $70,000 based on experience  

    Location:   Burbank, IL

    Speech Language Pathologist Duties:  

  • Complete evaluations to assess speech needs and areas of growth

  • Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students

  • Assist case manager with developing student Individualized Education Plan (IEP)

  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary teams and classroom teachers to meet the students’ speech and/or language needs

  • Observe students and collect data to measure progress and adjust treatment plans

  • Facilitate staff and community training in the area of communication disorders

     

    Speech Language Pathologist Requirements:  

  • Master’s degree in Communication Disorders  

  • IDFPR license eligible in the state of Illinois

  • Professional Educator License (PEL) eligible in the state of Illinois

  • Preferred experience in a K-12 setting.
