Because at Solventum, we never stop solving for you.The Impact You'll Make in this RoleClinical and Economic Research is seeking a highly motivated leader for teams developing software products used domestically and internationally to ensure accurate grouping, editing, and reimbursement of health care claims and to improve the quality of health care. Our cross-functional agile/Scrum teams develop a mix Java applications and legacy applications that we're looking to redevelop and rearchitect to better suit our customer's needs both on premises and in the cloud.If you have leadership skills, relevant technical experience, an urge to automate, and are driven to deliver quality software to customers that can improve patients' lives, we'd love to talk with you.Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Provide direct technical supervision of one or more teams responsible for developing HIS products, including Developers and Quality Assurance. This includes hiring, establishing and tracking goals and objectives, assigning workload, training, and facilitating the performance review process.Assist Technical Product Owner for a team working both to deliver HIS grouping content under the existing technology stack while simultaneously architecting and developing the replacement technology stack in a methodical manner.Set technical direction and establish, prioritize and work with the development team to define and update the team's backlog in concert with Tech Leads.Mentor development staff with duties such as analysis, software design, prototyping, coding, debugging, test case creation, test case automation, test case execution, documentation, support, infrastructure maintenance.Participate on cross-functional teams, coordinate and communicate with Product Owners, Business Leaders, Developers and others.Champion Agile principles throughout the organizationCreate an atmosphere of innovation and enable professional growthConflict / Change management ownership to ensure productivityYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher in a Computer Science, Information Systems discipline or related field from an accredited university and Ten (10) years of software development experienceThree (3) year team leadership experience (supervisor, ma ager, team lead)Preferred Qualifications:Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Experience with consuming Web services and web application development (SOAP/REST, Javascript/Angular)Experience CI/CDExperience with Java software developmentFamiliar with SQL and relational database designKnowledge of Agile methodology and experience working with distributed team membersAbility to solve problems in a logical, methodical, and time efficient mannerAbility to direct and influence othersLocation: Meriden, CT, Murray, UT, Remote USATravel : 10% many be requiredRelocation Assistance: NoMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-beingSolventum offers many programs to help you live your best life - both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
