Here, you will make an impact by:Developing business with leading key electronics OEMs through role of product specification managerWorking with existing and developing technology to apply to new customer solutionsSupporting key account business and technical by developing and supporting product specifications from idea to mass production. Work in tandem with key account sales and application engineering on design specifications to align with pricing and volume strategy.Developing data base strategy to manage pricing and specification revisionsSupporting the customer facing side to integrate activities of functions across application engineering, sales, product development, manufacturing, operations, finance and leadershipMeeting and negotiating with customers to balance customer requirements with 3M risk, cost, capability and capacityYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelors degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionTen (10) years of combined experience in quality, manufacturing and/or product/process development in a private, public, government or military environmentThree (3) years of experience working with product specificationsAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Experience in working with consumer electronics customersExperience in working with managed documents and databases, such as specification and pricing plansMinimum of three (3) years of experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solvingMinimum of three (3) years of experience on working in or supporting a manufacturing environmentMinimum of three (3) years of experience in working with New Product Development and Commercialization TeamsMinimum of three (3) years of experience working on Quality Improvement and Cost Reduction projectsExperience leading or participating on cross functional teamsStrong oral and written communication skillsWork Location: Maplewood, MNTravel: May include up to 20% domestic/internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life both physically and financially. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
