Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician with excellent attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will have experience in repairing manufacturing machinery. Overtime hours are always available.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance tasks and answering trouble calls.

· Troubleshoot problems with the use of schematics and wiring diagrams on motor and heater circuits ranging from low voltage to 480v three phase.

· Remove and replace defective parts from equipment with the use of hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools.

· Communicate effectively with the shift supervisor to prioritize repairs.

· Make entries to the maintenance log explaining problems encountered, repairs made and parts used or needed.

· Keep company tools put away and in working order.

· Fabricate repair parts, machine guarding, mezzanines, etc. using shop equipment (welders, plasma cutter, torch, grinder, etc.).
