Job Description

We are seeking a diligent Accounting Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing invoices for multiple vendors including freight carriers, ensuring that all invoices are coded and routed for approvals. You will address and resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies in collaboration with the purchasing and receiving teams, documenting and resolving any outstanding issues by month-end. Moreover, you will review and process payments to assigned vendors and creditors, ensuring timely processing within the monthly cut-off.

  • Process invoices for multiple vendors, including freight carriers (code & route for approvals)

  • Resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies in a timely manner by working with purchasing and receiving team members and ensure that outstanding issues are documented and resolved by month-end.

  • Review and process payments to assigned vendors and creditors ensuring that all invoices received by the monthly cut-off date are processed within that month.

  • Corresponds directly with vendors to resolve outstanding statement balances in a timely manner.

  • Process credit card purchases.

  • Responsible for ensuring that customer accounts are kept current.

  • Responsible for applying incoming payments daily and researching any unapplied monies.

  • Interacts regularly with customers.

  • Other tasks as assigned.
