Recovery Specialist, Texas Health Wellness and Recovery

We are looking for top skilled techs to join our Texas Health family.

Work location: Texas Health Wellness and Recovery, 240 N. Miller Rd., Mansfield, TX 76063

Work hours: Part time, Nights- working 24 hours weekly

Position Highlights:

Here’s What You Need

High school Diploma or Equivalent

1 Year Substance Abuse or Patient Care Technician experience Required

Or

High school Diploma or Equivalent with CNA certification Required

Or

Associate's Degree Mental Health or other healthcare related field Required

Licenses and Certifications

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required And

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 Days Required And

AHAFA - American Heart Association First Aid Certification must be maintained 90 Days Required

What You Will Do

Therapeutic communication while interacting with patients, working with the Wellness and Recovery care team and effectively collaborate with the nursing staff while exemplifying active listening and non-verbal elements of communication.
