*POSITION TITLE:         * Loan Central Administrative Assistant (Full-time with benefits)              

DEPARTMENT OR BRANCH LOCATION:        Mansfield Operations Center

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Review loan application data for accuracy in reporting consistent with the requirements of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA).  Create, edit, and maintain records for the HMDA Loan Application Report (LAR).  Create monthly, quarterly, and annual HMDA reporting as necessary for bank management and regulatory agencies.  Provide support during HMDA audits and exams.  Communicate with applicable departments and staff to ensure all regulatory requirements are met implementing HMDA regulations. 
  • Perform Loan Central administrative duties including preparation of required reports and processing any Loan Central Department invoices.  Monitor various reports and complete transactions as part of the outsourced insurance program. Also perform general administrative support duties by typing, copying, filing, scheduling, and mailing in an accurate and timely manner.   
  • Perform loan maintenance functions in conjunction with approved executed loan agreements for credit line renewals.
  • Maintain the Business Manager Program by posting payments, reviewing and posting fundings in accordance with established limits, end of month reporting, reviewing customer balances, and analyzing the reserves in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Process dealer floor plan loans by adding or deleting items on the system's collateral record, then balancing and billing the customer for monthly interest in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain customer Letters of Credit in an accurate and timely manner. 
  • Serve as backup for different processes in the department, including but not limited to quality control, scanning, escrow processing, and credit bureau reporting and disputes. 
  • Constructively interact with coworkers. 

*JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: *

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related program software.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn position-related software.
  • Ability to use general office equipment.
  • Knowledge of bank lending and loan processing policies and procedures specifically of the Home Mortgage Disclosure Act. (preferred)
  • One year of job-related experience.
  • Associate degree or equivalent educational experience. (preferred)

*HOURS *will average approximately 40 hours per week. This position is budgeted for 2,080 hours per year.
