Supplier Quality Engineer Intern Job Functions: Job Functions (Essential) Measure production parts to ensure drawing specifications are met Learn use of measuring tools such as: Vision System, Optical Comparator, Thread / Bore / Pin Gauges, Profilometer and others for performing inspections Inspect production parts for known quality issues Initiate supplier notifications for quality issues Handling 8D reports and working with suppliers Create and revise Local Work Instructions Support publishing weekly & monthly supplier quality metrics Keep management informed on current workload, issues and future assignments Adhere to company work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing professional staff behavior Adhere to company and professional ethics governing the handling of confidential information and the observation of confidentiality Maintain professional relationships with company employees, clients and customers, both internal and external Represent the company professionally in all interactions both internally and externally Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility, and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code Of Conduct.
