Responsibilities include promoting excellence in resident care through providing outreach and support to residents and families in collaboration with the nursing department. Being resourceful and knowledgeable with the evolving information on assisted living. Coordinating the resident care conferences with the nursing team. Responsible for assisting in the training of employees; completing staffing, scheduling and timekeeping review, employee recognition, engagement and assist with performance management by reporting all quality issues to the appropriate department director. Resident Services Coordinator Responsibilities: Assures that staff clearly understands and follows all resident care procedures. Assists Executive Director and Director of Nursing with scheduling of Resident Assistants. Communicate clearly with resident assistants as to their responsibilities pertaining to resident individualized service plan. Provide supervision while serving meals in dining room. Make daily rounds to connect with staff and residents. Provide on-going education for staff (resident assistants, dining services staff, etc.) in successful interactions and interventions with persons with dementia. Communicate pertinent information about residents to staff through communication books, memos and/or stand-up meetings as appropriate. Promotes a positive, team approach and a healthy work environment. Resident Services Coordinator Qualifications: College degree preferred or direct experience working in related senior area. One (1) year supervisory and management experience including hiring staff, coaching, performance management daily operations supervision, discipline and counseling preferred Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications Ability to work Monday through Friday with rotating on-call schedule.
