Assembler 1 Job Functions: Job Summary This position assembles generator sets and sub-assemblies that include both standard and non-standard product lines. This will require using hand and power tools and following quality and procedural techniques. Job Functions (Essential) Use work instructions, drawings, schematics and equipment used to perform basic assembly duties in a limited number of work areas (i.e. Final Assembly and Sub-Assembly). Cross train in multiple assembly areas and help in other areas based on necessity. Develop and maintain an understanding of the products assembled and continuous learning of the principles, practices and processes of their job as changes require. Recognize obvious defective or damaged parts, incorrect sizes, faulty workmanship and general quality. Responsible for following safety and environmental procedures and established processes and policies. Provide input on continuous improvement opportunities within the department Promote a compliance culture in area of responsibility and live the letter and the spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct.
