Job Title: Manufacturing EngineerJob Description

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will plan, formulate, administer, and coordinate various long- and short-term engineering projects designed to improve the quality and performance of products while reducing cost, waste, and delays in operations. You will evaluate, develop, and recommend improvements in manufacturing equipment, layouts, and material handling equipment, as well as oversee the production of new and non-standard products.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, formulate, and coordinate engineering projects to improve product quality and performance.

  • Reduce material and labor costs.

  • Evaluate new and existing processes and equipment for improvements.

  • Develop and recommend enhancements in manufacturing equipment and layouts.

  • Oversee the production of new and non-standard products.

  • Perform continuous process improvement activities.

  • Support and manage global sourcing projects for product improvements, cost savings, and supplier coordination.

  • Implement continuous improvement activities to enhance key performance indicators such as contribution, on-time delivery, cost of quality, incident rate, net efficiency, and safety.

Work Environment

The work environment includes a large warehouse with some noisy parts near the paint line. The work hours are from 6/7 AM to 2:30/3:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The role consists of 40% desk work, 40% floor work, and 20% meetings/administrative tasks. Proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00
