Job Title: Certified Welder (2nd Shift)

Shift: 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 2PM-12AM

Pay Rate: $25-$30/hour with .50 shift differential

Job Description

Join our team at a leading steel tank manufacturing company, where we specialize in fabricating large tanks used to store pressurized water for cooling data centers. We are looking for experienced welders to join our 2nd shift. This role involves welding and fabricating tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards, with a primary focus on lap and butt welding. Training will be provided on the 1st shift for the first few weeks until candidates are ready to transition to the 2nd shift. This is a direct hire position with opportunities for growth and advancement.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate various tanks and components to ASME Section VIII Division 1 Code standards, including FCAW, GMAW, SAW, and SMAW welding.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.

• Safely operate equipment, including overhead cranes (training provided).

• Use electric grinding equipment.

• Read and interpret manufacturing blueprints.

• Measure accurately using a tape measure up to 1/16".

• Work mandatory overtime when needed (not often).

• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or the Plant Manager.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 3-5 years of welding experience.

• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

• Ability to follow written instructions in English in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

• Ability to follow safety rules and regulations.

• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Proficiency in MIG/Stick welding and blueprint welding.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
