r*About This Role*
The Research and Evaluation Project Development Specialist supports pre- and post-award administration for the Office of Educational Innovation (OEIE) and Evaluation at K-State. The position works closely with Principal Investigators, Project Directors, faculty and OEIE staff to ensure grant applications meet sponsored research funding application parameters by collaborating with OEIE team members and clientele on evaluation and research design for new proposals and the development of evaluation components including logic models, budget justifications, and supporting documents required for proposal submission. This position is responsible for documenting and tracking projects from pre- to post-award status and researching new funding sources.

*What You\'ll Need to Succeed*
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor\'s degree and one-year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with evaluation stakeholders such as state and federal program funding agencies.
- Experience with writing proposals and an understanding of program planning.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in diverse and changing environments and foster a team environment.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and be highly motivated.
- Administrative experience in program management and budget development.
- Demonstrate problem-solving, critical thinking skills and analytical skills; including the ability to analyze administrative problems, make recommendations for improvement, and take appropriate courses of action.
- Exercises diplomacy and handle highly confidential matters in a discreet manner.
- Independent problem solving, organization, and analysis skills.
- Must be proactive, flexible, and demonstrate organizational and administrative skills.
- Experience in program evaluation and/or social science research.
