rAbout This Role:

This position is expected to enhance the Department\'s nationally recognized extension (80%) and research program (20%) addressing management as it relates to commercial agriculture. A major component of this position is to focus on problems and issues applicable to Kansas farm management including land markets and finance, production economics, and other issues important to the crop sector. The position is expected to collaborate with colleagues in the Department and across the country, as well as with faculty in other units and departments at Kansas State. Collaboration with allied industry organizations, government agencies, and other stakeholders is encouraged. Expectations include securing extramural funding, scholarly publication, and involvement and support of graduate student research.

What You\'ll Need to Succeed:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • PhD in Agricultural Economics or related field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PhD in Agricultural Economics
  • Experience in Extension and research

Other Requirements:

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment
