Job Description

Leads and guides perioperative services assistants in the coordination of daily operations of the perioperative department including booking, operating room charges and statistics.

Job Responsibility

  • Creates and updates charges, statistics, procedure cards and personnel modules.

  • Maintains and updates Perioperative Services computer system.

  • Generates reports relating to procedure cards, charges, stats, and scheduling.

  • Maintains employee file information on system log.

  • Performs data entry of all operating room charges.

  • Maintains operating room Block Time scheduling for surgeons.

  • Assists the leadership with assignments as needed.

  • Conducts training sessions with departmental staff to ensure proper creation and maintenance of procedure cards.

  • Ensures department adherence to all regulatory agency requirements and System, Hospital, and Departmental policies and procedures.

  • Performs related duties as required. All responsibilities noted here are considered essential functions of the job under the Americans with Disabilities Act. Duties not mentioned here, but considered related are not essential functions.

Job Qualification

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • 5-7 years of technical experience, required.

The salary range for this position is $31.03-$31.03/hour
