Senior Estimating and Pricing Analyst

Position Overview

At Aurora Flight Sciences, we design, build, and fly advanced aircraft and enabling technologies from concept to reality. We are searching for a talented and self-motivated Senior Estimating and Pricing Analyst to help us create the future of flight. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Responsibilities

• Develops estimates and prices through evaluation of requests for proposal, business case analysis, and various forms of data analysis (risk, financial, etc.).

• Researches and analyzes historical data and develops cost models to support proposal efforts and determine the of accuracy of functional estimates.

• Develops, applies, and maintains rates and factors for estimating/pricing activities.

• Maintains internal/external compliance to include development and delivery of policies, procedures, training, and systems/tools.

• Develops estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program.

• Develops cost estimates in pricing tool.

• Performs compliance activities including policy and procedure development, system/tool deployment and training delivery.

• Supports audit requests and fact-finding.

• Ensures adherence to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), certified cost and pricing compliance (aka TINA), and internal policies and procedures with regard to estimating, cost proposal preparation, review, compliance, submission, updates / revisions, and negotiations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance or related field and 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Masters+8 years' related work experience and 14 years' related work experience, etc.).

• Experience estimating for aerospace and manufacturing / production programs

• Excellent communication and analytical skills.

• Excellent organizational, time management, and process management skills as well as keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively and efficiently, both independently and with collaborative teams across the organization.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• This position is a part-time telecommuter in Manassas, Virginia (Hybrid).

Salary Range (Annualized USD)

  • Minimum Range: $94,000.00 to $168,000.00

  • Maximum Range: $119,000.00 to $212,000.00
