Job Posting: Production Support Associate (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Manassas, VA

Pay: $20.90 per hour

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 4 Days On/3 Days Off, Then 3 Days On/4 Days Off (Must be available to work any day of the week)

Position Type: Onsite

Basic Function:

As a Production Support Associate, you will be supporting the production process in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures and quality standards. You will carry out specific instructions from the Production Manager/Supervisor to ensure a smooth and efficient daily operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in various aspects of production processes.

• Document batch records in real time.

• Perform daily calibrations of equipment such as scales.

• Load products, wrappers, and bags into the equipment.

• Monitor product quality and escalate abnormalities or defects.

• Maintain a high level of attention to quality controls.

• Move products between areas (carts, totes, drums, pallets).

• Clean and sanitize areas during product changeovers.

• Prepare product packaging, boxes, wrappers, and ingredients.

• Load boxes onto pallets and transport loaded pallets.

• Ensure a clean and organized work area while production is running.

• Maintain daily logbooks and documentation of activities.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Math Ability: Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.

Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and vibrations.

• Occasional exposure to electrical shock risk, extreme heat (non-weather), and toxic/caustic chemicals.

• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, occasionally up to 1000 pounds.

• Stand, use hands for various tasks, reach with arms, climb or balance.

• Occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
