Job Posting: Production Support Associate (Temp-to-Hire)

Location: Manassas, VA

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 4 Days On/3 Days Off, Then 3 Days On/4 Days Off (Must be available to work any day of the week)

Basic Function:

The Production Support Associate will assist in supporting production processes according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality standards. You will carry out instructions from the Production Manager/Supervisor in alignment with the daily schedule to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in various aspects of production processes.

• Document batch records in real time.

• Perform daily calibrations of equipment such as scales.

• Load products, wrappers, and bags into production equipment.

• Monitor product quality and escalate any abnormalities or defects.

• Maintain attention to quality control measures.

• Move products between areas using carts, totes, drums, and pallets.

• Clean and sanitize areas during product changeovers as per batch records.

• Prepare products, boxes, wrappers, and ingredients for production.

• Load boxes onto pallets and move loaded pallets to appropriate areas.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while production is running.

• Maintain and update daily logbooks and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Education/Experience: High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Math Ability: Ability to perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and interpret a variety of instructions (written, oral, diagram, or schedule).

Work Environment:

• Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, and vibrations.

• Occasional exposure to electrical shock risk, extreme heat (non-weather), and toxic or caustic chemicals.

• Noise level in the work environment is typically loud.

Physical Demands:

• Regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds; occasionally move up to 1000 pounds.

• Must be able to stand, use hands for tasks, reach with arms, climb or balance, and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Pay Details: $19.00 per hour
