A Technical Documentation Specialist is needed for a multinational corporation that produces mirrors as well as a variety of construction, high-performance, and other materials in the Malvern, PA area. This position will be responsible for updating or creating all the raw material specifications used by our operational teams.

location: Malvern, Pennsylvania

job type: Contract

salary: $25 - 30 per hour

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: Associates

responsibilities:

• Gather technical data from different sources (colleagues, technical documents, etc.)

• Ensuring the accuracy of the raw material specification is critical for production.

• Summarizing data, writing an updated raw material specification, and securing approvals.

Skills:

• Ability to interpret technical documentation.

• Clear, rigorous technical writing.

• Fluent with Office, particularly Word and Excel.

• Ability to write/understand very simple scripts in Python preferred.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma with 5 plus years of technical writing experience,

• Associate degree with 2 plus years of technical writing experience, or

• BS in any scientific/technical field (chemistry, material science, etc.)
