Maintain the integrity and efficiency of database systems; Access and analyze requirements needed to implement changes, assess the feasibility of requested changes within system constraints; Advise on available options and evaluate potential risks and impacts associated with the proposed change; Analyze application requirements and propose feasible solutions to address business needs; Drive working sessions with business and technical consultants to explore business process improvements and optimize database-related processes; Implement regulated changes to the system and supporting tools, as part of regular change management activities; Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards during change implementation; Implement, clone, and upgrade the current database systems in a regulated environment; Apply patches, ensuring the security and functionality of the systems; Provide user support for application-specific issues post-upgrades, refreshes, and cloning; Manage and uphold Production Apps 12c instances, ensuring their stability, performance, and availability; Provide support and maintenance for the production database, addressing issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions; Provide production support for production-live applications, ensuring their smooth operation; Work on bug fixing and defect management, collaborating with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues effectively; Identify and address performance bottlenecks, ensuring optimal database performance for critical applications.

JOB REQUIREMENT: Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electronics & Communications Engineering or a related technical discipline. Foreign degree equivalent based on education, training, and/or experience is acceptable. Experience to include two (02) years experience with the following tools/technologies: Configuring alerts using Crontab; Database restoration and recovery using RMAN; Configuring RMAN backups; Oracle 11g, R12 RAC installation; Oracle database installation, maintenance and support; Hands experience on R12.2 environments; Cloning from Multi Node to Multi Node, RAC to Non -- RAC and RAC to RAC; Oracle Apps 12.2 patching using ADOP; Implementation of Oracle utility products and DBA support; Oracle SQL Developer; Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM); Oracle Cloud Services; Oracle Database Configuration Assistant (DBCA); Oracle Patch Set Update (PSU) and Patch Set; OPatch; Data Pump; Oracle Universal Installer (OUI); Oracle Automatic Storage Management (ASM); Oracle Grid Infrastructure; Oracle AWR (Automatic Workload Repository); Oracle GoldenGate; Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control; Oracle SQL*Plus and SQL Developer; Shell Scripting.
