The individual will be a member of the US Legal and Compliance Department, and the global Banking and Finance CoE (Center of Excellence). This position will report to the Chief Counsel, Banking and Finance Americas, and the Lead Lawyer for the Commercial Finance – Americas Business Unit (“SFS COF Americas”) of Siemens Financial Services. COF, a business of Siemens Financial Services, is a global equipment finance/leasing platform.

This position reports out of either Iselin, New Jersey or Malvern, Pennsylvania, with a flexible hybrid work model allowing you the autonomy that suits your lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Lead Lawyer for SFS COF Americas to support the SFS COF Americas business unit

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of agreements related to the establishment of vendor programs and the financing and leasing of equipment under such programs.

  • Proactive counseling to executive sales leadership and senior management on finance law and other topics.

  • Prepare and conduct training of sales and other personnel on various finance law and other topics.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor required and admitted to practice law in at least one US State

  • 4+ years of successful and relevant experience in the equipment leasing and finance field for a Counsel role and 10 years of experience for a Sr. Counsel role.

Preferred Skills

  • Expert skills in partnering with internal business leaders and advising on complex matters

  • Experience with both captive and non-captive vendor financing programs in the healthcare industry

  • Some experience supporting, or familiarity with, treasury operations of a large company

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines

  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work with constantly changing priorities

  • Team player who can work independently and thrives on a fast-paced environment

  • Strong integrity and business ethics

  • Strong negotiation skills

The pay range for this position is $133,000 to $296,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
