Job Description Summary

This role is responsible for assisting with implementation of the compliance monitoring program, and support of the aggregate spend program as required by the Corporate Compliance and Business Practices department. The Compliance Specialist serves as an integral member of the Corporate Compliance team and is expected to assist with conducting monitoring activities and support of the aggregate spend program. This position will also be responsible for performing monitoring activities, developing monitoring result reports, communications in support of remediation activities and interact with vendors and other internal and external stakeholders.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Execute monitoring of the compliance of promotional and non-promotional business activities, including conducting live monitoring and leading transactional reviews independently.

  • Accurately and thoroughly document monitoring findings within monitoring templates and system. Summarize the findings and suggest recommendations to Compliance Officers.

  • Conduct transactional monitoring, including collaborating cross-functionally to identify and gather relevant supporting records, conducting records review to assess compliance with policies/procedures.

  • Manage the compliance monitoring system, documenting monitoring findings, tracking status of open issues until closure, and providing training to new team members, as appropriate.

  • Maintain corrective actions tracker, working with Compliance Business Partners to obtain status updates on the action items and close out open items in a timely manner.

  • Support development of monitoring data analytics to assist with the automation on monitoring.

  • Maintain status of all monitoring outcomes ensuring proper documentation and close out of remediation.

  • Monitor feeds of HCP spend data from internal and external sources, communicate issues/findings to business units and vendors, and facilitate remediation.

  • Assist with responding to physician disputes during internal pre-disclosure period as well as during CMS dispute period.

  • Assist with accuracy and timeliness of all federal and state spend filings.

  • Stay abreast of new transparency laws and effectively communicate the changing requirements to the Compliance team and the business. Drive implementation of new requirements.

  • Educate Compliance team on changes in federal and state requirements and assist Associate Director, Compliance Monitoring, Analytics & Transparency Reporting with preparation of dashboards of key trends and findings for communication to Compliance Officers and/or relevant business management.

  • Provide new hire training to new sales representatives, vendors, and other relevant employees.

  • Develop training materials and aggregate spend templates for use in collection of accurate and complete data.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • BA/BS degree is required.

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.

  • Previous monitoring and aggregate spend reporting experience is preferred.

  • Pervious data analytics experience is preferred.

Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools.

  • Awareness of various laws, regulations, and industry guidance that affect Endo’s compliance program, including OIG, PDMA, IFPMA, AdvaMed, PhRMA Code, Eucomed, U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and other global anti-bribery laws and country specific regulations, international and U.S. transparency laws .

  • Strong computer skills (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) are required.
