Summary of Role: At GlobalFoundries, Human Resources is an integrated part of the business and positioned as a key strategic partner developing progressive workforce strategies that enable business growth. We partner closely with leaders to drive an ambitious and comprehensive people strategy driving business impact while balancing culture, employee engagement, talent, and organization effectiveness.We are seeking HR Business Partners to provide a full range of HR business support to the Global Business Unit organization. The successful HRBP will thrive in the fast paced, ever-changing environment; and proactively collaborate with HRBPs, Centers of Excellence and Key Stakeholders to advise, orchestrate solutions and influence client groups on issues involving, but not limited to, People Strategy, Leader Development and Coaching, Change Leadership, Engagement and Retention, DEI, Organizational Design & Development.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop and drive people programs to enable high performance teams. In partnership with leadership, maximize business impact around culture, employee engagement, talent, organization effectiveness and transformation

  • Build a culture of positive employee relations to facilitate fair, consistent and transparent work environment.

  • Align performance management and reward systems to drive and reinforce a culture of high performance and innovation within the client groups

  • Champion engagement, diversity and inclusion, career development and recognition initiatives to increase and sustain a high level of employee engagement

  • Provide HR leadership and coaching to managers and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices

  • Leads talent strategy and process to develop world-class team

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and client teams to define and drive strategic staffing plans

  • Ensures HR programs and plans are aligned to the business priorities and monitors effectiveness through the tracking of key measures

  • Works closely with HR Centers of Excellence on implementation of the various initiatives, people processes and programs across the client groups.

  • Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements, and programs

    Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required in Human Resources, Business, or related field

  • 1-2 years’ experience in a diverse range of HR functions

  • Language Fluency: English (Written & Verbal)

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources or related discipline preferred.

  • SHRM or HRCI Certification

  • Prior related internship or co-op experience .

  • Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc.

  • Project management skills, i.e. the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong planning & organizational skills

Expected Salary Range

$47,300.00 - $84,400.00

The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
