For more information, visit www.gf.com. Summary of Role: We are seeking an experienced Product Engineering Director to join our dynamic team. This role is integral in supporting our fast-paced manufacturing operations and ensuring alignment between our people strategy and business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology integration and qualifications, program-managing engineering resources, and experience in a technical/advanced manufacturing environment. The Product Engineering Director will interact with leaders at various levels within the organization and utilize their analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions. This person will report directly to the Vice President of ULP CMOS Product Development. Within the CBT organization, this individual will have the authority to allocate resources for design enablement, technology integration, device engineering, TCAD, and reliability engineering as they see fit. They will partner with overseas fab manufacturing and integration teams, establishing trusted and close partnerships with manufacturing operations leaders. Essential Responsibilities: Identify potential risks proactively and work with program contributors to implement risk mitigation plans. Resolve capability and resource gaps (operational expenses, capital expenses, skills) proactively until the product ramp in high volume manufacturing is completed. Manage the R&D budget and resources allocated to the program's execution across all GlobalFoundries locations. Oversee the execution of strategy and drive the following: Ownership of the risk register and risk mitigation plans, Alignment across all stakeholders, both within and outside the ULP CMOS department and GlobalFoundries, Provide regular progress updates to company executives Ensure the successful completion of an Early Reliability Assessment (M4 gate) by December 31st, 2025. Engage in customer-facing meetings as needed. Advising senior leadership on organizational strengths and weaknesses and proposing plans to address and leverage these aspects (learning plans, organization efficiency improvement plans, procedural improvements, etc.). The role is based in Malta, NY and will require some amount of domestic and international travel (20% of time). Required Qualifications: Master's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, or Engineering. 15+ years of experience in a foundry business. A successful track record in managing technology development programs. Prior experience in managing quality and risk (identification, mitigation) in integration. 3+ years of people management experience Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Physics, Chemistry, Material Science, Engineering.
