Job Description:

Responsible for performing the physical or administrative tasks supporting the distribution of materials, parts, supplies, equipment, and rejecting unsatisfactory items where necessary.

Essential Functions:

  • Re-distributes material to required production workstations and bins.

  • Lifts heavy items and may operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, tow motors, forklifts, etc.

  • Coordinates with production operators and planners to transport work in process to multiple locations within production facility.

  • Performs manufacturing floor stock cycle counts as required.

  • Assists production planning in providing status on Work In Process and updating of electronic reports.

  • Works under general supervision. Less detailed instructions are provided, and moderate peer review is required.

  • Transporting product between multiple facilities within Brevard County.

    Qualifications:

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.

  • Ability to lift 35lbs.

    Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Valid Driver’s license required.

  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance.

  • Knowledge of material handling procedures and Environmental Health and Safety requirements.

  • Experience in manufacturing.

  • Experience with data entry on PCs & Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

  • Experience with meeting goal/deadline(s) while being able to flexible.
