Staples Manager of Business Development Reps in Maitland, Florida

The Manager of Business Development Representative will be responsible for leading a BDR team that contributes to Staples success by connecting potential customers with the right Staples platform to meet and or solve their business needs. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to significantly impact the growth and development of our lead generation team and will work closely with Sales peers, Operations and Marketing to ensure the success of the program. This team has a large effect on Staples bottom line: executing at the top of the funnel is what drives revenue out of the bottom by ensuring we are hitting and exhausting the best quality leads.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead front line representatives with consistent coaching, developing and accountability to ensure selling processes, strategies and initiatives are being executed with quality and efficiency

  • Consistent call coaching sessions and crucial conversations.

  • Responsible for the execution of sales strategies within their given team/campaign focus while capturing regular intel on what is working well, what are the obstacles and what are the areas of needed improvement.

  • Responsible to deliver on team productivity KPI’s.

  • Improve rep, team, and campaign performance by call listening, call coaching and collaboration while ensuring sellers have proper support and foundation for success

  • Creating and fostering a diverse, inclusive, and positive environment.

  • Responsible for meticulous hiring for new associates while supporting supplemental training and support.

  • Vocalizes team feedback and recommendations to sales leadership for efficiency improvements and evolution of campaign and sales strategy.

  • Facilitate performance evaluations, reviews, and any formal performance improvement plans for the members of the Sales team.

  • Maintain proper and thorough documentation for all associates.

  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and challenging atmosphere that presents a significant and consistent workload

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor while managing multiple deadline-oriented projects

  • Comfortable and professional on camera for business meetings and executive-level engagements.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

  • Proven industry experience and connections

  • Practical knowledge of full Office Suite products
