Description/Job Summary

Farm Credit Illinois is an agricultural financial cooperative owned by 16,000 farmer, rural landowner, and agribusiness voting stockholder members in the southern 60 counties of Illinois. Dedicated to Helping Farm Families Succeed, FCI provides competitive and flexible financing, crop insurance expertise, and Rural 1st country life lending. FCI manages a $7 billion loan portfolio, sells 1.5 million acres of crop insurance coverage, and employs 280 staff in the Mahomet headquarters and 14 regional offices.

As the Fall Digital Marketing Intern, you'll have opportunities to learn about agriculture in central/southern Illinois, gain valuable hands-on experience, see a project through from start to finish, collaborate throughout the Marketplace Engagement Department (MED) and Association, and become part of a community-oriented team working to server farmer-members.

Responsibilities/Duties

Specific responsibilities include:

• Assisting with graphic design projects and video production

• Assist with developing collateral for learning programs

• Managing and archiving data and collateral

• Writing and editing news releases, newsletter articles, and educational content

• Creating social media strategy, curating content, and monitoring results

Required Skills

• Strong writing and communication skills

• Knowledge of how social media is utilized to grow followership

• A familiarity with Adobe Products and interest in graphic design

• High level of accuracy and thoroughness

• Working knowledge of AP Style
