JOB REQUIREMENTS: Supervisor Emergency Department Technicians - 36451 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a full time, 40 hour per week position. Hours will primarily be Monday - Friday daytime hours, however the flexibility to have a presence with staff during other shifts is highly desired. We are seeking an Emergency Department Technician Supervisor to: * Plan for and provide a staff schedule which meets patient care needs. * Assist in communicating department/leadership decisions and policies to staff and physicians. * Facilitate the flow of information from medical staff to the other department staff regarding patient care procedures and new equipment. * Recruit staff members who are in congruence with service excellence and quality patient care. * Engage in ongoing feedback to the effectiveness of staff members into their roles. * Facilitate orientation of all new staff and promote ongoing continuing education.
