Job Title: Shipper/Prep - 2nd Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipper/Prep for our 2nd shift to assist with various tasks related to the preparation and shipment of gear boxes. These gear boxes are used in a range of applications from small grocery store conveyor belts to large amusement park rides. This role involves working across different departments to support operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Remove all tape and prep materials from units

• Add nameplates, assembly lids, and hardware as required by order

• Package and weigh units

• Prepare SAP shipments

• Prepare and package parts orders

• Clean work/storage area and check inventories

• Assist in the prep/paint area

Essential Skills

• 8+ months of general labor experience

• 8 months to 1 year of job tenure in previous roles

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs

• Ability to stand for 10 - 12 hours a day

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with paint prep, general labor, shipping, picking, packing, and scanning

Work Environment

You will be working in various areas including receiving, shipping, inventory/racking, and machine operation. The facility is newly expanded and clean, with a new automated paint line system. The environment is climate-controlled but can get hot during the summer months, with a moderate noise level. No smoking is allowed on site. The dress code requires steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and shorts or pants with no holes/tears. The shift hours are Monday - Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:30 AM, with required overtime and occasional Saturday shifts.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waunakee, Wisconsin.

The pay range for this position is $20.12 - $20.12/hr.
