The Senior Actuarial Analyst performs data analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights, and recommendations that drive strategic decision making and ensure the financial stability of the company. This position will also perform analytical tasks to support the corporate strategic initiatives and develop models used for pricing and financial processes. Using subject matter expertise, this role will lead work efforts in providing accurate pricing, filing rates appropriately, and setting adequate reserves. Starting salary based upon skills and experience: \$98,900 - \$123,700 plus robust total rewards package Responsibilities Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to extract meaningful insights and trends. Develop and maintain actuarial models to assess risk and predict future outcomes. Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario testing to evaluate the impact of different variables on financial projections. Identify analytical needs and problems. Design viable solutions by considering a wide range of sources, tools, and techniques. Complete comprehensive data analysis and interpret results to support business decisions. Develop data insights that lead to a deeper understanding, quantification, and management of risks. Recommend actionable items to further corporate strategic objectives. Work closely with peers and other business units such as Product Management, Sales, Underwriting, Finance, Analytics, and Provider Services. Distill complex topics to clearly communicate findings to stakeholders. Develop relationships to effectively collaborate across departments. Lead pricing of insurance products by performing rate reviews, loss ratio analysis, and competitor benchmarking.
