JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Stroke Program Coordinator - 32129 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : This is a full-time, 100% FTE salaried position. The scheduled shifts are primarily Monday-Friday day shifts. Hours may vary based on the needs of the department. You will primarily work at University Hospital located in Madison, WI. We are seeking a Registered Nurse to: * Work in an interdisciplinary team developing, implementing, and evaluating standards of care and/or protocols to improve patient care, practice and/or systems with the Stroke Program. * Collaborate with clinical leaders to ensure a well-coordinated, multidisciplinary program of care and education across settings. * Integrate related research into practice. * Initiate and participate in stroke care research. * Identify key programmatic outcomes specific to stroke self-care management, analyzing current educational initiatives, planning for improvements, and systematically integrating them into practice to ensure patient learning and promote improved clinical outcomes. Registered Nurse, Licensed in State of Wisconsin 2. CPR/BLS Preferred - 1. Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurse (CNRN) 2.
