JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Description OUR TEAM: Our Tailored R&D Solutions (TRS) business leverages Promega\'s innovative technologies and R&D expertise to provide customized solutions and a strategic partnership to help advance clients\' drug discovery and development workflows. TRS screening services support client drug discovery ventures through high-throughput screening (HTS) and compound selectivity profiling. YOUR ROLE: As a Research Scientist in our TRS screening services team, you will play a pivotal role in executing all lab operations. You will design, validate, and screen client compound against our innovative suite of cellular assays using our state-of-the-art laboratory automation. You will work with program management to ensure timely completion of customer projects. You will work closely with the broader R&D organization to transfer new assays and technologies into our screening services portfolio. YOUR EXPERIENCE: You have a strong laboratory background in cell biology, including mammalian cell culture. You have a strong commitment to constant process improvement and optimization. You have experience in some or all of the following areas: cell culture, laboratory automation, method development and validation, compound management, HTS and or selectivity profiling, laboratory informatics, data analysis and scientific writing. Prior experience working in a fee-for-service or CRO setting is highly desired. CORE DUTIES: 1. Responsible for the execution, analysis, and delivery of compound screening and profiling projects for clients. Designs, executes, analyzes and troubleshoots screening runs. Takes initiatives to achieve project outcomes. 2. Develops and executes robust compound management capabilities that ensures compound availability, integrity and traceability. 3. Design and implement laboratory automation methods. 4. Ensures smooth transition and scalability during assay and technology transfer from R&D into the TRS screening services. 5.
