JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: University Health Services (UHS) is seeking dedicated nursing professionals to join our Primary Care team. This Registered Nurse position provides direct patient care, telephone triage, and patient education to the students of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. RNs collaborate with different members of the interdisciplinary team to develop treatment plans, complete assessments, delegate, and provide necessary patient care. This position offers an opportunity for remote work after successful onboarding. Responsibilities: Provides professional nursing care to patients through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation to ensure physical and mental well-being. 75% Provides care to individuals within a specialized area of medicine to ensure physical and mental well-being 10% Evaluates current care plans, completes assessments, develops specialized treatment plans, documents medical activity, and analyzes patient data and results to help diagnosis and treat illnesses and diseases 10% Educates patients and their support systems on how to manage conditions and to promote the health and well-being of patients and those around them 5% Participates in medical research as needed in collaboration with medical professionals and internal and external stakeholders Institutional Statement on Diversity: Diversity is a source of strength, creativity, and innovation for UW-Madison.
