About the Role
The Product Owner role at PSI is responsible for analyzing client requirements and mapping our products and services to meet client needs. The person in this role is required to think about the whole picture, both clients and PSI capabilities/needs. Product Owners see a need and how that can be met with specific product features and advise clients how it could be achieved in different ways.
This is a full-time permanent role, with flexible hours around core office availability Monday to Friday. The role can be performed remotely, with occasional travel for meetings, events and workshops.
Role Responsibilities
Collaborate with customers to define end-to-end solutions that meet their needs.
Advise, lead, and document solution proposals that align with both user expectations and PSI’s technical capabilities.
Scope requirements and translate them into actionable tasks for development teams.
Provide detailed product specifications and maintain active engagement with developers to ensure successful implementation.
Balance priorities between user-facing features and internal tools to create cohesive solutions.
Offer technical guidance while keeping the user experience at the forefront.
Train customers and PSI staff on product features, providing feedback and insight to improve usability.
Deliver on-site assistance during product launches and implementations.
Conduct product demonstrations for implementation and pre-sales activities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements
Proven ability to manage time effectively, balancing multiple priorities across user-facing and internal tools.
Strong understanding of product design from both the user and development perspectives.
Experience in product ownership or solution architecture is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
Experience with tools like Microsoft Azure DevOps or JIRA.
Skills in interpreting API specifications, database tools, query writing, HTML, or CSS are advantageous.
