Summary Description 

Hiebing is seeking an Assistant Account Executive for our PR, Social Media and Content department. An integral position within the agency, the AAE will provide ground support in the development and execution of client- and agency-related public relations and social media plans. 

  

Duties/Responsibilities: 

Writing:  

  • Tell our clients’ stories by crafting content in a variety of formats including social copy, media pitches, press releases, blog posts, infographics, case studies and more 

  • Adapt "voice" in writing based on target, medium and client preference  

  • Social Media: 

  • Develop editorial calendars and manage creative asset development 

  • Assist in ad trafficking and QA  

  • Monitor and develop responses to social media conversations and trends across social media daily 

  • Assist in gathering data and identifying insights for measurement reports 

Media Relations:  

  • Create targeted lists of client-appropriate media contacts 

  • Learn the types of publications to pitch and which journalists would be most receptive to a pitch based on their past coverage 

  • Pitch media and manage follow-up and interview coordination 

  • Report progress, manage results trackers and create campaign recaps 

Influencer:  

  • Assist in the management of influencer relationships on behalf of clients by curating lists of potential influencer partners and building timelines for program milestones 

  • Report progress, manage results tracker and create campaign recaps 

Work Skills: 

  • Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and take ownership of work 

  • Passionate about public relations, social media and content and committed to learning fundamentals of each  

  • Collaborate within the department and with other agency departments 

  • Promptly seek help or counsel when needed from appropriate senior staff  

  • Assist in agency projects such as client events and phone duty 

Qualifications: 

  • Relevant experience (internship or full-time) 

  • Bachelor’s degree 

  • This position is a hybrid position. You must be able to be on-site Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday weekly 

  • Ability to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
