JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: The Department of Radiology, University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health is seeking a dynamic physician-scientist to help build a research program focused on advanced imaging diagnosis and therapy in cancer biology, including the areas of integrated diagnostics and/ or theranostics. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with several departments and institutional leaders in the areas of research, clinical and education as part of an academic career within the Department of Radiology at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor on the Tenure Track. The clinical area will be determined by the successful applicant\'s sub-specialty expertise and interests in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. As a public employee, the hired faculty member will participate in the Wisconsin Retirement System which includes pension benefits and malpractice insurance. Responsibilities: The successful applicant will join the Department of Radiology and will have clinical, research and teaching responsibilities as described below. The successful applicant will have a strong background in advanced oncologic imaging diagnosis and therapy, including the areas of integrated diagnostics and /or theranostics. The successful applicant will be positioned to build and direct a research program in integrated cancer diagnosis and therapy within the Department of Radiology. The applicant will work closely with the Department of Radiology leadership and other UW physician-scientists from various departments including radiology, medial physics, pathology, radiation oncology, and oncology for the development and translation of advanced technologies into clinical practice. This position will also have teaching and clinical responsibilities in the Department of Radiology.
