JOB REQUIREMENTS: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner - Inpatient Otolaryngology Surgery - 33807 Work Schedule : 100% FTE, 12-hour shifts, 5 AM- 5 PM or 6 AM- 6 PM. No weekends. Be part of something remarkable As an Advanced Practice Provider, you\'ll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients. We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to: * Provide comprehensive care to adult otolaryngology patients in an inpatient setting and collaboration with interdisciplinary team consisting of residents, speech/swallow therapy, case management and nursing * First Assist in the OR (preferred but not required) * Assist with the following procedures: Nasal Cautery, Rigid Nasal Endoscopy, Flexible Diagnostic Laryngoscopy, and Tracheostomy Changes. * Conduct comprehensive or episodic health history and physical assessment of patients/families with acute, chronic and/or potential health problems. Licenses and Certifications : Minimum - * If Nurse Practitioner: Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND active board certification as a NP. These include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care; Gerontology. * If Physician Assistant: Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND active PA board certification. * All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
