JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job ID: 21181 PEOPLESOFT DEVELOPER (Official Title: Software Engineer/Developer III) Position Summary The PeopleSoft Developer is a key part of the Student Information System Services (SIS) technical team. The incumbent in this position is responsible for PeopleSoft development, including integrations, upgrades, customizations, and reports. The incumbent will also contribute to planning, design, and technical recommendations. The individual will work under general oversight and will promote best practices through comprehensive documentation and change management controls. The ability to handle several projects concurrently (both independently and collaboratively) and meet deadlines is required. Some evening and weekend work is required. Remote/Telecommuting work options may be available. Preference will be given to Wisconsin residents. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES PeopleSoft Development Develop and debug software components using PeopleSoft specific tools, languages, and environments. Build and debug application interfaces between PeopleSoft and other systems. Develop and update software components in support of PeopleSoft updates and enhancements. Participate in the detailed analysis, design, development, and implementation of enhancement projects. Support system testing and bug fixing activities. Create complex reports and SQL queries to support business users requests. Assist with level 2 support tickets and other end-user support tasks. WORK LOCATION Telecommuting or hybrid work options may be available. Preference will be given to candidates that reside within the state of Wisconsin. Experience working in an IT Development position supporting an ERP. Demonstrated experience providing technical leadership, training, and guidance to both technical and non-technical end users. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated experience working with Campus Solutions. Demonstrated experience eliciting requirements from stakeholders. Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker and PeopleSoft Application Engine. Prior experience working with controlled change management processes. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementation, and design of PeopleSoft customizations and integrations.
