JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: Seeking organized, food safety driven individuals! \$17.30+ per hour! University Housing is looking for individuals with food service industry knowledge and experience with inventory to join our Dining & Culinary Services team. The Inventory Control Coordinator oversees and manages the movement and storing processes of food and equipment as it enters our docks for residential dining facilities on the UW-Madison campus. Responsibilities: Assesses stock supply and submits orders, verifies shipment receipt, and maintains shipping, receiving, and inventory records to ensure unit has appropriate inventory. 25% Tracks inventory levels and places replenishment orders following established vendor procurement procedures 20% Inspects and inventories received items and processes notifications to appropriate entities 15% Shelves inventory and maintains organization 20% Generates inventory reports to account for available stock and usage 10% Develops, organizes, updates, and manages inventory storage floor pan to store food items and materials. 5% Distributes and issues food supplies within building, while adhering to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures. 5% Cleans, organizes, and maintains all storage areaas. Tasks: Reads instructions on labels (written in English) in order to properly and safely store food products and to identify if a product was substituted and what potential food allergens the substituted product may contain. Provides support and assists as needed in the implementation of plans and procedures in the event of an emergency. Demonstrates and role model exceptional customer service. Performs duties in a high-volume, dynamic, student residential dining environment. Assists and guides student workers and full time staff.
