Title: Software Engineer

Duration: 7+ months (high likelihood of extension; temp-hire possibility!)

Location: Madison WI (hybrid – must work onsite 3 days/week)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Seeking a Software Engineer contractor to support this program from our Madison, WI location as part of a global cross-functional team.

• Work with LSD and SW Engineering teams in Madison, WI and Bangalore India sites to develop and test software for a NPI program.

• Define, develop, and evolve software engineering solutions in a fast paced lean/agile environment

• Design robust software system architectures that align with multi-generational software framework and allows for future product expansion

• Work closely with systems, application, marketing, service, clinical teams and customers to refine requirements and system design

• Interact with global teams to maximize synergies across common software platform components

• Apply principles of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) across all phases of software development

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in C++ and object orientated design methodologies in a Windows environment

• Experience with Python, Visual Studio, Gitlab

• Demonstrated ability to drive projects to completion satisfying quality, performance, schedule, and budget requirements

• Strong oral and written communication skills.

• Medical device design and development experience desired

Education / Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
