STRANG INC Electrical Engineer in MADISON, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Electrical Engineer is a licensed engineer working closely with Strang\'s integrated team of design professionals to deliver engineering services for a variety of exciting project types. Working under the direction of a Department Director and in collaboration with Senior Engineers you will advance your power and lighting design knowledge and experience in all phases of design from pre-design through construction administration. You may be assisted by other engineering technicians and engineers in training when necessary. This position can be located at one of Strang\'s regional offices in Wisconsin with flexible work model arrangements. Key Responsibilities: Engineer, design, and document Building Power Distribution, Architectural Lighting Systems, and Fire Alarm Systems using an integrated and collaborative approach. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems seamlessly into overall building designs. Produce electrical drawings and specifications from pre-design to construction administration. Assist with code review, power calculations, equipment circuiting, lighting illuminance calculations, and product selection. Assist with project bidding and construction administration including collaborating with contractors, field coordination, site visits, and observations reports. Excellent communication and coordination skills. ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Accredited Degree in Architectural Engineering or Electrical Engineering Professional Engineering (PE) license Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical design for building projects. Proficiency in Revit, AGI, PTW32, and other relevant design software. Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, IBC, NFPA, etc.).
