JOB REQUIREMENTS: Clinical Pharmacist Pediatrics - 35636 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Work Schedule : 100% FTE, Day/Evening Shift. You will work at American Family Children\'s Hospital in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. We are seeking a Clinical Pharmacist - Pediatrics to: * Provide pediatric medication therapy management services as part of the interdisciplinary team to patients on inpatient services to assure that drug therapy is safe, effective, efficient, and cost-effective. * Participate in the bedside management of medical emergencies with a focus on drug selection, preparation, procurement, documentation and history. * Provide training and education to Pharmacy Residents and PharmD students through practical and didactic experiences. * Participate in interdisciplinary patient care rounds, medication reconciliation, medication therapy monitoring, medication orders management, patient education, drug information, drug dosing, and various scholarly activities. * Contribute to pharmacy practice through development of clinical practice guidelines, order sets, and practice protocols. The ideal candidate will have inpatient pediatric experience and board certification or PGY2 pediatrics specialty.
