Divisions within BNANO include Bruker AXS, Bruker Nano Analytics, Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology, Fluorescence Microscopy, and Canopy. Bruker AXS is seeking a Benchtop Repair Technician. The Benchtop Repair Tehcnician is responsible for providing efficient and coordinated repairs of handheld instruments, bench-top systems and materials that are sent to the depot for repair. Must provide written documentation, procedures, and telephone support as required. The ideal candidate is a motivated self starter with excellent organizational skills and the ability to plan and execute projects to improve level of support and to work both independently and in a team envrionment. Responsibilities Perform depot repairs of customer instruments Provide technical phone support to customers and field service personnel across Americas for Bruker BNA products. Develop repair procedures and assist in the evaluation of repairs that should be performed at the Madison depot. Maintain repair documentation of customer material Comply with internal business process and document cases as needed Provide input and create service bulletins and other technical documentation. Configure computers and peripherals as required Travel to customer site to provide service and/or planned maintenance. Contribute to the development and delivery of service training classes Assist in the development and updating of technical maintenance manuals Perform other tasks as assigned by the Technical/Customer Support Manager Maintain spare parts inventory, applications lab equipment, and participate in service training schools.
