Summary of Major Responsibilities The Accounting Intern will assist in the day-to-day accounting responsibilities with a focus on account reconciliations and the related Sarbanes Oxley controls. The position is intended to be a full-time opportunity for a business undergraduate to obtain hands-on experience in financial accounting for a public SEC filer. This internship will be based out of our Madison, WI office location and is for Summer 2025. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Develop skills and knowledge across general accounting sub teams: SEC, Consolidations, Integrations, Cost Accounting, Fixed Assets and General Accounting Maintain accounting policies and procedures that are in compliance with applicable government regulations (SOX, GAAP, IFRS) Perform or shadow general accounting sub team members for month end close and quarter end close tasks including general account analysis and reconciliations Assist in financial statement preparation through account classifications and transactional coding Partner with accounting team members to assemble information for external auditors for external filings Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements Partner with general accounting team on technology and close efficiency projects Mandatory Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software Suite Education and Experience Enrollment towards bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance. Physical Requirements Ability to use computers daily in an interactive manner for extended periods of time and up to 8 hours per day.#LI-VZ1 Salary Range:\$34,000.00 - \$54,000.00 The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis.
