Job Summary

At SuperATV we are working to WOW our customers with innovative, race-tested products and world-class customer service. Currently, we have a new opportunity for a highly detailed Continuous Improvement Engineer to join the team. This working role will help continue SuperATV’s growth and impact in the off-roading industry.

Manages efforts to identify root causes of issues negatively impacting Production, S&R, Supply Chain, Forecasting, Engineering and NPD objectives, including:

  • Performs time studies and workflow analysis for production

  • Implements and maintains processes that sustain continuous improvement gains

  • Reviews and assistance with routing and/or other process flows created by production

  • Leads or conducts studies in safety, cost, quality, productivity, flow

Primary Duties

Leads and coordinates a wide variety of identified and approved initiatives and projects designed to improve processes and performance in all Production, S&R, Supply Chain, Forecasting, Engineering and NPD areas.

  • Establish, lead Continuous Improvement Activities.

  • Facilitate the selection, scope, and planning of specific improvement projects

  • Identify goals for CI events and potential quantifiable savings

  • Identify resource requirements and ROI estimates for improvement projects

  • Lead Kaizen events and maintain reporting on events, event outcomes and action plans, and follow-up measurement results

  • Participate actively to prove process concepts as well as implementation of improvement activities

  • Monitor and maintain event schedules

  • Follow up and audit event progress to ensure results are achieved and sustained

  • Resolve implementation issues / create and manage implementation communication process

Qualifications

  • Must have good Problem-Solving Skills

  • Willing to learn different aspects of the business, outside your comfort level

  • Must have a high level of self-motivation

  • At ease and engaging as a Trainer and agent of change

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Advanced Computer Skills (Excel, Word)

  • Highly results oriented and focused on business priorities, with a successful record of accomplishments

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including ability to assess and manage priorities

  • Self-starter with analytical skills, able to identify problems and/or opportunities for improvement, assesses viable solutions, and develops and executes complex projects and comprehensive action plans

  • Proven ability to self-manage.

    Physical Requirement : Capability to lift twenty pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, and carry items from one building to another. Must be able to clearly speak, actively listen, and participate in a collaborative team.

Education / Experience

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a manufacturing/production environment

  • Deep understanding of lean principles and methodologies.

  • Ability to analyze data, identify problems, understand their root cause, and develop effective solutions.
