Swiss Lathe Programmer/Operator

A well-established company is seeking a full-time Swiss Lathe Machine Operator for an entry-level position. If you have experience with PartMaker programming , this opportunity could be a great fit. The role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment. The right candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the company, especially if they show the ability to pick up programming skills over time.

The facility offers a climate-controlled, clean work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete machine changeovers and setup from layout in a timely manner.

• Possess a working knowledge of G and M codes.

• Read and interpret blueprints.

• Experience programming with Autodesk PartMaker (preferred, but training can be provided).

• Edit programs, touch off tooling, and troubleshoot machine issues.

• Use measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) to ensure quality.

• Follow specific work, process, safety instructions, and procedures.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Proficient computer skills for project scheduling software.

• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

• Maintain a strong work ethic and attendance record.

• Keep work area clean and organized.

Qualifications:

• High attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.

• 3+ years of experience in CAM programming and machining .

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality.

Position Details:

• Full-time position, Monday to Friday.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $35.00 per hour
