Sr. Financial Analyst This position will be responsible for analyzing past financial performance to predict future performance and to advise the company on its financial strategy and budgetary trends including recommending cost savings or enhancement practices as applicable. Key responsibilities will include: Analyzing financial information to determine present and forecast future financial performance; provides interpretation of financial trends to aid in strategic decision making. Coordinating with various levels of management to gather, analyze, summarize and prepare recommendations regarding financial plans, new business planning, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts. Interpreting financial data to recognize changing trends, patterns, and their meaning related to key performance indicators. Recommending actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; studying proposed changes in methods and materials. Conducting comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis. Ensuring accurate and timely financial and operating statistical information for the identification of potential business problems and opportunities. Monthly reporting and communication of financial performance against objectives. Determining cost of operations by establishing standard costs, collecting operational data. Protecting operations by keeping financial information confidential. Supporting the quality initiatives set forth by the Region. Following all safety policies and procedures, completes the provided training. Performing other related duties as assigned. Knowledge, skills, and abilitities to be successful include: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required. A comparable combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. 3 years of financial analysis or accounting experience required. Thorough knowledge of financial statements and business strategies. Knowledge utilizing Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent organizational and planning skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with others. This position reports directly to the VP of Finance, and has no direct reports.
