NEW MBSE SYSTEMS ENGINEERING OPPORTUNITY DEVELOPING NEXT GEN UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLES FOR A TOP AEROSPACE & DEFENSE COMPANY

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Systems Engineer to support ongoing UAV projects. You will work closely with team members, including Customers, Program Managers, Engineering, Production, and Operations, to ensure that all project requirements and artifacts are modeled correctly.

Responsibilities include understanding customer requirements, defining and modeling system architectures, and effective project communication.

  • You will develop system designs through Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools such as Cameo, develop system design with knowledge of SysML, create system requirements and subsystem requirements, and define system bounds, capabilities, and functional features.

  • Additionally, you will coordinate with cross-discipline team members to ensure the actual design aligns with the intended design, monitor and manage full system-level requirements, and ensure the system meets the intended requirements.

  • Monitoring and managing validation and verification of requirements at the system and subsystem level is also part of your role.

  • Defense and aviation experience is a plus.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • MBSE experience with Cameo

  • Systems of systems knowledge

  • 3-7 years' experience
