Job Title: Carpenter Laborer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Finish Carpenter to assist with the installation of windows, doors, weather-strips, countertops, hardware, and finish trim on toll and security booths. This role also includes caulking, labor work, and paint preparation tasks.

Responsibilities

• Install windows, doors, weather-strips, countertops, hardware, and finish trim.

• Perform caulking tasks.

• Assist with general labor work and paint preparation as needed.

• Use basic hand tools for various carpentry tasks.

• Read and interpret tape measures accurately.

Essential Skills

• Experience in finish carpentry.

• Ability to perform labor tasks related to carpentry.

• Proficiency in using basic hand tools.

• Experience with door installation, framing, shear, and sheet metal work.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• No specific certifications required.

• No medical qualifications required.

Work Environment

This position is based in a shop environment. It can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter but has good ventilation. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, 6 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional Saturday shifts from 6 AM to 11 AM.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
