Air Mobility Command Recreation Assistant (Graphics) in MacDill AFB, Florida

Summary About the position: This position is located at the Arts and Crafts Skills Development Center of the 6th Force Support Squadron Community Services Flight, MacDill AFB, FL. Basic knowledge of computers and graphics software is required. Must possess basic math skills. Must be able to see all colors. Responsibilities Assists customers of the Arts & Crafts Skills Development Center's Graphics Shop in a variety of graphics needs. Manufactures custom graphics projects such as plaques, T-shirts, and mugs by following prepared work orders and operating sophisticated graphics equipment such as computers and engravers. Assists supervisor in determining stock levels of merchandise and supplies. Assists with the ordering of merchandise and supplies. Assists with the ordering of merchandise and supplies. Prepares custom graphics orders, proofs and original designs for customers and activities within the Services Squadron. Prepares cost sheets for customers to make payment. Conducts periodic inventory of all merchandise and equipment within the graphics shop. Assures that the activities physical environment is in clean and orderly condition. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Qualifying Experience: Basic knowledge of computers and graphics software is required. Must possess basic math skills. Must be able to see all colors. Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Applicant must have experience which provided a working familiarity with the routines and procedures followed in group activities or programs and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities equipment used in arts and crafts skills development. Must be able to deal with staff and the public in a professional manner. Must be able to see all colors. Education Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
